Steven Smith, MD - Medical Director, Transplant/Transplant Nephrologist
Dr. Steven D. Smith is the medical director of the transplant program at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (1992) and completed his residency and fellowship training at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City (1997). Dr. Smith is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University and a full time staff member in the department of medicine at St. Luke's Rooosevelt Hospital. He was recently listed in the New York Times Magazine (April 26, 2009) as one of the "New York Super Doctors 2009."
