Under the leadership of Leif Holgersen , MD , this service provides highly expert, experienced pediatric surgical care at both the Roosevelt and St. Luke's Hospital campuses. More than 250 pediatric surgical operations are performed annually for wide ranging conditions affecting children in the neonatal and pediatric age groups. Pediatric Intensive Care Units are located at both campuses. The Pediatric Surgery Division has a close collaborative relationship with pediatricians at SLR and also serves as a referral resource for community based physicians.
