The Division is comprised of five surgeons who are felllowship trained and practicing advanced laparoscopy.

Julio Teixeira is Chief of the Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery and Director of the Center for Bariatric Surgery and Metabolic Diseases. He has a primary interest in foregut surgery including bariatric surgery and minimally invasive surgery of the adrenal and pancreas.

James McGinty is a recognized expert in hernia surgery and materials for tissue reconstruction. He is the Residency Program Director and has a strong clinical interest in hernia and bariatric surgery as well as surgery of the foregut, and colon.

Ninan Koshy has a primary focus and interest in Bariatric surgery

Grace Kim has a primary interest in surgical education and clinical interests in areas of foregut and hernia surgery.

Scott Belsley is Director of Robotics and our Simulation Lab. He is an expert in clinical robotics applications and has interests in Bariatric surgery and surgery of the foregut and colon.
